You seek my power? Very well, but you must abide by my rules and my conditions. I am not some "genie of the lamp". I am captured by nothing and endentured to no one. I am a king, and you are a fleeting life requesting my assistance. I can do what you cannot... Do not push your luck with me.

My only condition: your wish must be of interest to me. I seek original requests, or ones that catch my interest. I have lived through many years, many worlds, and many dimensions. I have done things you could never fathom... But I grow bored of the same old thing. Surely there are still things in this world I have yet to see... or yet to experience. Show me and I will grant your wish.

As for my rules: I will not alter one's heart or one's past, I will not harm children, and I will not bring the dead back to life. It is within my power to do each of those, but seeing the results of previous attempts I simply choose not to. This is my preference, and therefore my rule.
